August 12th, Annual picking of the Merlot Vine at the vineyard
Good afternoon to all:
We are preparing for the annual picking of the Merlot Vine at the vineyard on Saturday August 12th starting at sunrise and concluding around mid day with a gourmet “Smorgie “on the patio. Anyone that cares too may come and have an old fashioned harvest. There will be crushing and pressing of the fruit, but sadly no bare foot stomping. As I promised this E-Mail is short.
Directions to the vineyard are as follows from I-10 exit at the 281 off ramp and proceed South 6 ¼ miles on South Sonoita Hwy, do not turn onto “old Sonoita Hwy” to mile marker 52.2 at this point you will see a group of US Mail boxes on the East side of the road, turn here and come up this road about ½ mile the Vineyard will be visable.
