On August 23rd, Linda Mayro, Cultural Resources Manager for Pima County provided a brief recap of a previous meeting while the Commission and speakers in the audience expressed support for the County’s proposed projects.
Vail residents and pioneers expressed support for HP 109 by sharing their thoughts and voices. Marcela Figueroa-Gutierrez, Carmen and Fred Mayer wrote about long-ago, Rosie Mayer spoke to the Commission and J.J. Lamb read a letter on behalf of Francisco Bejarano.
Ms. Mayro recommended that the Commission approve the County’s proposed list of projects as presented to the Commission in August. The motion was moved and approved by the commission.
